For the first time this year Homestead is offering Day Camp at the farm. On June 20, 22, or 24th your children ages 5 through 10 can particpate in all the down-on-the-farm activities including hayrides, learning about farming practices of today and yesteryear, having fun with the animals and learning about farm chores, participating in a scavenger hunt, crafts, exploration, and much more! These single day camps run from 9:00AM to 3:00PM each day. Space is limited so download and return the registration forms soon.

One of the most popular activities each maze season is the opportunity to meet many of the animals up close. The chicks are fun for people to hold and photograph. Small children espcially enjoy this interaction with these little critters.
We are off and running with our public fall maze season once again this year. Despite the overcast skies we did a brisk business this last weekend continuing our big start to the annual multi-weekend event. If you haven't stopped by already there is still time to take in the maze, hayrides, pumpkins, Homestead hand-crafted cutting boards and butcher blocks, caramel apples, and visit with all the farm animals. There's no need for reservations during the weekend maze events. Here's the fall public maze info page. And below are some photos of this last weekend's action.
