New for Fall 2016! We Offer a Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch

This year we have a special section of our fields set aside for the "Pick-Your-Own" patch. Just take the shuttle back to the pumpkin field and you'll be able to select just the pumpkin that will fill your needs. We will continue to have wagonloads of prepicked pumpkins up near the pumpkin barn as well as gourds, syrup, honey, corn stalks, woodcraft items, decorative straw bales, refreshements, and much much more for sale. And don't forget the childrens' exploration area. It's back again after being such a popular attraction in it's inaugural year in 2015. So stop by Homestead Animal Farm and pick up just the right pumkin for 2016 and stay for the animals, the hayride, and the maze while you are here! Here's a link to the fall maze season information.

We will continue to offer prepicked pumpkins this year but now also a pick-your-own section of the field.

The Homestead Chicks Greet the Public and Pose for Photos

One of the most popular activities each maze season is the opportunity to meet many of the animals up close. The chicks are fun for people to hold and photograph. Small children espcially enjoy this interaction with these little critters.

The Homestead Maze Season is Well Underway

We are off and running with our public fall maze season once again this year. Despite the overcast skies we did a brisk business this last weekend continuing our big start to the annual multi-weekend event. If you haven't stopped by already there is still time to take in the maze, hayrides, pumpkins, Homestead hand-crafted cutting boards and butcher blocks, caramel apples, and visit with all the farm animals. There's no need for reservations during the weekend maze events. Here's the fall public maze info page. And below are some photos of this last weekend's action.
