The Homestead Maze Season is Well Underway

We are off and running with our public fall maze season once again this year. Despite the overcast skies we did a brisk business this last weekend continuing our big start to the annual multi-weekend event. If you haven't stopped by already there is still time to take in the maze, hayrides, pumpkins, Homestead hand-crafted cutting boards and butcher blocks, caramel apples, and visit with all the farm animals. There's no need for reservations during the weekend maze events. Here's the fall public maze info page. And below are some photos of this last weekend's action.

Maze Time Again - Preparations Underway

We're almost ready for the 2014 season. Here are some photos of Mark setting up the maze signage. These are the checkpoint and mystery questions that are used in some of the maze games you can participate in at Homestead Animal Farm. (That's Nellie supervising in the last photo.) So mark your calendar! The maze season begins soon. We'll see you at the farm this fall.

Best Corn Ever!

The Corn in the  maze is 8-12+ feet tall and awaiting maze goers. It will be a challenge this year to figure out just where you are in the maze with the tall corn.

To give you an idea of how tall the corn is, for perspective, Mark stands just under seven feet tall!
